About Certificate of Origin (COO)
A Certificate of Origin is a key document required by exporters to certify that goods being exported are manufactured or processed in a particular country. In India, this certificate is issued by Chambers of Commerce, Export Promotion Councils, and other authorized entities.
GSEF works with the authorized organisations by the Government of India to issue Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential), ensuring exporters have the documentation needed to facilitate smooth international trade.

Registration Procedure
Permanent Registration:
Exporters must register with GSEF for COO issuance by:
- Submitting an Indemnity Bond on a Rs. 200/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper. (Sample available upon request.)
- Paying a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for non-members.
- Collecting COO stationery and submitting required documents, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipment Proof (e.g., Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, or Lorry Receipt)
