The Intellectual Property and Innovation Council is dedicated to helping businesses secure and leverage their intellectual property rights (IPR). By fostering awareness, expediting IP registration, and building partnerships with research and development institutions, this Council empowers businesses to innovate confidently and grow sustainably.

The Intellectual Property and Innovation Committee includes:

Engagement with Authorities: Advocating for Efficient Systems
Local-Level Engagement:
- Collaborate with Honorable Leaders of innovation hubs and incubators in GSEF to foster a supportive ecosystem for startups and IP creators.
State-Level Collaboration:
- Partner with Honorable Officials at the National Capital Region State Innovation Society (MSInS) to promote innovation and streamline state-level IP initiatives.
Central-Level Representation:
- Liaise with Honorable Shubhra Singh, Controller General of IP India, and Honorable Anurag Jain, Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), to ensure faster IP approvals and robust protections.
- Engage with the National Innovation Councils to secure resources and promote collaboration.
Council Convener: Championing Innovation
The Director of IP and Innovation Advocacy will:
- Lead awareness campaigns and workshops on intellectual property.
- Represent businesses in discussions with IP offices and innovation councils.
- Drive partnerships between GSEF’s enterprises and R&D institutions.
