Stay Alert: Protect Yourself from Scams

At GSEF, your safety and trust are our priorities. Unfortunately, our organization’s name is sometimes misused in fraudulent emails, text messages, and social media communications claiming to represent us.

To help you identify and avoid scams, please note:

  • Authentic emails from our organization will always use the domain @gseforum.com
  • Be wary of messages sent from generic email domains like Yahoo, Gmail, or Hotmail, or suspicious addresses such as @navimumbaichamberofcommerce-jobs.in

If you receive any doubtful communication, please contact us directly to verify its legitimacy. Stay vigilant and safeguard your personal information.

Alert_ Beware of Fraudulent Communications

Fraudulent actors may create fake social media profiles, including on LinkedIn, impersonating our Founder or other key figures. These imposters often send messages falsely representing “GSEF” to solicit payments or sensitive information.

Common tactics include:

  • False Offers: Messages promoting memberships, participation in events like the “Exclusive Global South Economic Forum (GSEF) Summit,” employment opportunities, or awards and grants.
  • Requests for Personal Details: Fraudsters may ask for sensitive information such as passport or bank details.
  • Payment Demands: Scammers might request payments via services like Western Union or MoneyGram, posing as official representatives.

Please exercise caution and verify any suspicious communication directly with us before responding or sharing personal information. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from fraud.

Important Points to Remember:

Authentic Communications

All official emails from are sent exclusively from addresses ending in @gseforum.com. We use a strict Sender Policy Framework (SPF) to prevent email spoofing and identify fraudulent communications.

Event Participation

events are by invitation only, reserved for members and verified guests. We never solicit participation through unsolicited messages or third-party platforms.

Employment Offers

Genuine job opportunities are posted on our official website. We do not advertise openings via unsolicited emails or social media, nor do we request payments through any platforms, including Western Union, MoneyGram, UPI, or GPay.

No Awards or Grants via Messages

We do not distribute awards, grants, or similar incentives through emails or text messages. Any such claims should be considered false and disregarded.

Report Suspicious Communications

If you receive any suspicious email, text, or social media message claiming to be from , do not respond. Instead:

  • Forward the message to itsecurity@gseforum.com for verification.
  • Delete the message immediately if you suspect it is fraudulent.

If you have inadvertently shared personal information or payment details in response to a suspicious message:

  • Contact your bank or credit card provider immediately to report potential fraud or identity theft.
