Permaculture and Sustainable Farming Committee

Over the next two years, the committee will:

• Empower Grassroots Farmers-Build capacity for smallholder and marginal farmers through training, knowledge-sharing, and access to sustainable farming techniques.
• Policy Advocacy-Develop evidence-based recommendations to influence government policies that support permaculture, natural farming, and climate-resilient agriculture.
• Promote Agroecology-Foster initiatives that integrate traditional wisdom with modern innovation to reduce costs, regenerate soil, and improve yields.
• Encourage Partnerships-Drive Public-Private-Community collaborations to scale sustainable farming practices and strengthen rural economies.
• Champion Food Security-Align agricultural practices with nutrition goals to ensure equitable access to healthy and affordable food.
